Care & Aftercare Instructions

Waxed Amaryllis bulbs don’t need water—each bulb already contains all the nutrients and moisture it needs to bloom.

Every bulb follows its own timeline, so the exact bloom time can’t be controlled. Typically, bulbs grow two stems over 4–5 weeks, with multiple flowers developing per stem over the following 3–4 weeks. Most blooms appear around 8–9 weeks after purchase, though some may take 10–12 weeks.

To keep your Amaryllis looking its best, trim spent flowers and place the bulb in a bright, well-lit room—avoid direct sunlight. Rotate the bulb every few days to encourage straight growth and never expose it to freezing temperatures.

Please note that height, bloom time, number of flowers, and color may vary depending on the climate and growing conditions.

Shipping

At Bloomaker, we carefully process and ship all orders within one to four business days to ensure you receive the freshest products possible.

Please Note:

• Delivery dates are estimates provided by the carrier. Once your package leaves our warehouse, we cannot guarantee the exact arrival date. Weather and other unexpected delays may impact delivery times.
• To protect our live plants, we do not ship on Fridays. This prevents bulbs from being stored over the weekend in uncontrolled environments that may expose them to extreme heat or cold.
• We also do not ship on weekends or U.S. holidays to ensure the best possible care during transit.

Our bulbs are shipped in compact packaging for efficiency and easy storage. To maintain their quality:

• Open your package immediately upon receipt.
• Inspect your order for accuracy and condition.
• If you notice any issues, please contact us within 2 days of delivery by replying to your order confirmation email.

When certain varieties or sizes are unavailable, substitutions that closely match your original order may be made to ensure timely delivery.

Important: Bloomaker is not responsible for damage to bulbs during transit or for lost or stolen packages.

Local Pickup

Important Pickup Information ⭐

• Same-Day Pickup: Orders placed before 10:00 AM will be ready for pickup the same day between 1:00–4:00 PM. Orders placed after 10:00 AM will be ready for pickup the next business day after 1:00 PM.

• Pickup Window: Please pick up your order within 2 business days of purchase. Pickup is available Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM–12:00 PM and 1:00 PM–4:00 PM. We are closed on weekends.

• Location: Local pickup is not at the front office. Orders can be picked up directly at our Bloomaker facility in Waynesboro, VA – Building 2. Please follow the signs marked “Online Local Pick Up” and head to the middle section of the building, you’ll see a small shed.

  When you arrive, ring the bell, someone will open the door and simply give us your order number, and we’ll have your blooms ready.
