With many years of experience in the amaryllis world, and after extensive research, we know that our waxed amaryllis flower will perform well as long as there is enough moisture and nutrition inside that bulb. To that end, the larger the bulb, the better it will perform.

It is for this reason that Bloomaker focuses on growing only giant amaryllis bulbs that are genuinely larger than those that are typically available in the market.

Normal-sized amaryllis bulbs tend only to perform well within a limited variety of colors and when their roots are exposed to water. Not only are the giant bulbs that Bloomaker grows in Peru available in a much wider range of the varieties, but they are not dependent on being rooted into a water supply.

Having a partner farm in Peru and controlling how and when these bulbs are harvested produces another unique and very compelling feature. It means that Bloomaker has year-round access to giant amaryllis bulbs, meaning this unique high-quality product is readily available for sales into the major holidays that occur later in the new year, in addition to traditional seasonal sales based around the fall and Christmas.
